Has anyone tried to build the elevator trim tab like the ch750 i would like to get the tab incorporated in the elevator. Looks cleaner and less chance of me giving it hanger rash.

The part is really complex and is not very expensive to buy.

I dont understand i was under the impression that zenith is selling the older style tab for the 701.

I'm building a 750 and this allows me to buy parts as needed. The 701 elevator has a different TE, so you'd need to fab your own internal trim tab to match. Not really hard to do.

The 750's trim tab is a complicated multiple bend affair and I figured I'd ruin more aluminum trying to duplicate it than it was worth.
