In regards to your question "How do I get through the firewall?:  A comprehensive guide how to do so is contained in JabiruUS's Install manual for the Zenith CH701 FWF for the Jabiru 2200 engine attached below:



 



I would think someone else has the firewall fitting as shown on page 2 of 3.

Chuck,  

I used Aeroquip 666 Hose for fuel lines running through the cockpit on my Zenith 701. It is stainless clad Teflon hose. If I recall, the hose has no shelf life (read you don’t need to replace it for a long time) and the fittings can be opened as often as you wish. The downside is that it’s expensive and its difficult to push-on the hose over normal (cheap) fittings. You can purchase the hose and screw-off fittings specifically designed for this hose at Aircraft Spruce.

I ran aluminum fuel tubing attached with Adel clamps, with aeroquip 

braided fuel line at the wing attach.
