Can someone tell me why the fuel tanks for the 750 is at $995 and the 801's price is $1,475.00. These are both 15 gallon tanks and even if the slope of the tank is different to fit the contour of the different plane's wing I would think you could still make the 750s tank fit in the larger 801's wing.. The same goes for their extended range fuel tanks, where the 750's tanks are $490 and the 801's are at a whopping $1085. I don't get it, they're all 15 gallons tanks, why the discrepancy? And I'm sure the hosing is not vastly different in linear feet to warrant the huge cost difference. The streamline wing struts are free in the 750 and cost $280 for the 801. The VGs are much cheaper at $95.50 compared to the 801's VGs at $148.00. How much longer could the horizontal tail section be, maybe 2 or 4 extra VGs to outfit a 801? That's pretty expensive for a couple pieces of bent aluminum. I think Zenith needs to adjust their prices for the 801 to match common features for the new 750.

You're asking the wrong people, ask Zenith and then tell us. I for one
would be interested. Thanks for bringing it up. Larry, N1345L

Aren't the 801 parts made in Canada and the US parts made in Mexico, MO? An
then there is the difference in volume.

Craig are you saying those prices are in Canadian dollars? If so, that would make the cost comparable and what I would expect in US dollars. And I just found out yesterday that the 801 ARE just made in Canada....didn't know that fact until I asked Zenith about the 8 inch wheels that is offered as an option for the 750..

No, I am thinking they are US$ but production costs are higher in Canada. Also the 801 production may be less automated. I know they have an NC machine in MO but I don’t know about CA.
