I was wondering what the purpose of a Jump Seat is on a Firestar II or
any "single" place Kolb for that matter. is it just for a child? Can
an adult fit in it? maybe a person about 165 lbs or less?

I have taken 185 pound passenger in my Firestar II
Rear seat is full much of the time.
Often on little cross counrties.
