I have a set of Rivethead aero door pins and guides. I am looking for a source for pins without the magnets, as I intend to use microswitches instead of the magnet switch. I can then adjust the switch to activate at the very start of any retraction, instead of the 1/4 inch or so movement the magnet switches require. Does anyone have a source for the pins?

I'm sure Steve DiNieri (iflyrv10.com) would help you out.

What is stopping you from using the magnetic pins mechanically?

Recently I had an opportunity to examine the doors on several other 10s. one had a cauliflower shaped hole in the rear door frame. the irregular shape was about 5/8" in diameter. I think the hole in the door frame should be circular and 7/16" in diameter jus as the pin. The irregular hole is going to provide plenty of room for the door to move while closed.

Chris,
I can trade out the pins (no cost), just send them to me and I'll send you the non mag pins. Also I can sell them if you prefer to keep the old ones.
I offer them as an option when I sell the door guides, but I have offered in the past to change out pins from other manufacturers and I'm happy to continue.
just drop me a private note if you decide to send them to me so I can watch for them.

Probably, but if you want them this decade, probably better to go with Steve.
