Flew my Dad, visiting me from Illinois, over to the lake where my husband hunted gators this year. There is a grass strip by a beautiful lake and pond house. It was a gorgeous morning for flying.

Looks like fun Crystal, and a beautiful place to land. We need more pictures from that outing, maybe an aerial view

It is not as pretty as a real picture but this google earth picture gives you an idea of the strip and lake.

Rob,
My plane is 415 empty. With me and my dad and fuel I am close to 870 pounds on takeoff. That also puts me very close to my most forward CG range. It makes a big difference in the handling, but dad only comes to visit maybe twice a year. I wouldn't put my plane under that kind of load continually. I mostly fly children if I take a passenger.
When you take someone up in your Mark II, be prepared for the longer takeoff roll and slower climb out.
