Ok, so I've gone with leaner idle jets (50 from 55) and adjusted the air slides down as far as they go and I still can't get idle rpms below 2500. I've just installed a gearbox clutch so I'd like to get idle down to where prop doesn't engage. Should I go to 45's with the idler jets or is there something else I haven't tried?

With two strokes if you go lean on idle it tends to increase RPM rather than
decrease - maybe you're going the wrong way? - Bob Robertson should be able
to add to this
