[quote] Doc,

All I did was remove the David Clark mike from my old 10-80 headset and put it in the mask.  Loud and clear right from the get go.  But I hear tell it depends on the radios as well.  Mine are Becker.

The Davie Clark electret mic I used is a Model M-7A, P/N 09168P-33.  Yea it just plugs right on the same terminals, easy.  I have had this thing up and running for four years now, no problems whatsoever.

My air source is at the front of the gills, via the air compressor cooling air horn, positive pressure all the time.  It was an easy install, and zero CO at the mask, it may be a little inconvieount because of the mask but I actually like it now.  Canopy open and zero mic noise for intercom and transmitting.
