"I have finally finished the first kit for sonex powerd by Jabiru 2200. Its a fully stainless steel slip-on turbomanifold. It produces apporx. 105-110 (at) 5-6,5psi of boost. This is the never Jabiru engine witch has 85HP normaly aspirated.

It would be very interesting to know how long the 2200 stands up to 5 PSI boost. If it survives, it says something about the strength of the engine which was never designed for this.

I'll second that statement, Mark.....I'd sure like to see it hold up,
but my head tells me it won't.

Hello Peter, your setup looks good. Just wondering how you modified the Bing to give a proper fuel rate for the increased air density from the turbo? Also did you need to increase the seat pressure of the valve springs to compensate for the exhaust and boost pressures ? I know that in high boost situations this is something that must be compensated for, I do not know how close the factory specs are for spring pressures. I have a Garrett VNT turbo that might be a good match for the engine size and RPM's we have with the 2200A. Thank you for sharing your creation, please keep us posted, Don
