For the iphone. It just came available.
Your thoughts on this. It is more money 10.00

I did but didn't buy it. It's typical Garmin....pay premium bucks but don't give everything that competing products give. It doesn't offer the Sectionals and low enroutes, and approach plates and those features. The weather features look pretty nice but when you compare it to other apps you get lots less for your money. Probably a nice app at $25/yr if you didn't already own a more complete package, but at $120/yr it's a waste of extra cash that you could spend on other more feature filled apps.

Yeah, I am not positive but I think this app was more recently bought by garmin but used to be owned by someone else, and available on cell phones...back in the "olden days" of phone intelligence (2-3 years ago  )
It's amazing how far we came. Scott was emailing me the other day how cutthroat the apps are these days...one company can make a better app at a better price, or even an equal app at a better price and almost overnight they can take a market away from a competitor. That's why I don't mind paying for a good app since it will help them keep developing it and supporting it so I don't constantly have things being obsoleted.
