Hello all from a snowy England.
Our YAK 50 is on annual at the moment, and our engineers have found inter-granular corrosion in the material of the REAR RIGHT spar attachment bracket, and it is going to have to be replaced.
Does anyone out there in the Yak community have such a part or are aware of a scrap airframe where the bracket could be liberated?
Fabrication is our fall back option, but unfortunately we can't paint 'EXPERIMENTAL' on the side and get on with it! Our feds will take an age to approve a new build part (despite its simplicity), so an existing part is preferred.
Many thanks.

Here is a poor quality catalogue photo of the part required. Better quality one to follow.

I would try to make it, and convince the CAA that it's at least as good as
the original part. Can't you have it made by a company who can certify it
with an EASA document?
