Finally after 3 months since my first flight I got my gear legs and wheel pants painted and installed. I thought I would share these photos and help
inspire everyone still banging rivets or working on the fiberglass that it is worth every hour. Also included a picture of my panel with my
AFS 4500 SV's.

All I can say about your 10 is "NICE JOB". All I can say about my plane is "it flies". What I was told was that at altitude they'll look identical!
Great job Geoff!

Don

Don’t think you did not do a nice job on yours. Yours is as nice as a lot of them out there you should be very proud how it turned out.

Just my 2 cents.

Geoff, I was particularly fascinated by this shot in your album. Because the leg fairings are not on you can visualize what the -10 would look like as a retract, or just in flight, straight & level at 12,500’, maybe a little XM music in the background. Beautiful work on the 9GW. Looks better than certified to me.

John, that is what I have in mine and Scott also. Scott has some pictures
on his site on what you need to do with the stick to make it fit. Next time
we run into each other out at the airport, you can do the check it out
thing. My annual is due in March and I will have the airplane apart
then......

You may want to take a look at what Robin Marks posted (with photos)
under this subject line:
RE: Elevator travel vs. stick grip clearance

A hydraulic press was used. I took the same route and it seems to have
worked great. No cutting required. Thanks Robin!

You may also want to check out the Tosten/CH stick here:
http://tostenmanufacturing.com/catalog/aircraft-grips/cs-8-aircraft-grip.html

I liked the Infinity but it had 1 or 2 more switches more than I
wanted. I checked out the Tosten and liked it a bit more. The photo on
the site gives the impression that it may looks a bit 'chintzy' with
center seam and all. But in fact it has a quite nice look and feel. A
bit more subdued than the Infinity but equally robust. Enough buttons
for everything plus 1 in my thinking. It appears that the grip can be
mounted so that it freely rotates while firmly mounted (Think about
switching hands on a 'handed' molded grip). Anyway, I have it, I've
shortened the stick and wired it up. Haven't flown it yet.
