If one were to make their retirement decision on the location of other RV aircraft, Doug Reeves RV White Pages would be a helpful place to start. http://www.vansairforce.net/rvwp.htm

Well, AZ has a ton of RVs of all flavors. My home drome has several flying 8's,7's, 6's, 4's as well as at least 3 10s under construction, a couple 9s and 8 under construction.

Actually, when you consider the number of RVs flying (6641 according to Van's hobbs meter) with untold more being built, it is probably hard to find any reputable airport that doesn't have one or two. I know that there are quite a number at the airports around here in NJ - some of them with sliders and nosewheels (mine included, but it was primed).

HA! Where are the core concentrations of RVers? It's always seemed like
Texas, the Pacific Northwest, Minnesota, and Southern California.
Are there any other hotbeds. Ohio Valley? Georgia?
Wherever one retires to, I assume one would want to have (a) a good airport
and (b) good airport friends around. Taxes are no fun, but at the other end
of the spectrum, I guess I wouldn't want to end up in some god forsaken
place with a dirt and rock runway, a broken down airport dog, and a rusty
can that inspires the day's intellectual highlight: figuring out why
somebody can spit as far as the can and some people can't.
Oh, and you don't want to go where there's a lot of slider RVs that weren't
primed and have nosewheels.

I think it has all been good nature jesting - although I have gotten a few ideas on places to visit In Minnesota, North Carolina, NM.
By the way for some reason I felt like "poking the bear" the last day or so (boredom with plane on the ground for annual and waiting for a few parts I suppose) and if I got y'all upset I apologize.
