Full choke, about six squirts on the primer, crank and advance throttle about 1 inch. When she catches, immediately retard throttle and idle at half choke while it warms a bit. If she tries to quit, give a few more squirts on the primer. For me this starts it right up every time regardless of weather. Oh ... did I say CDI's on? Wink

Marco, I see you are using a clutch on the 582. I thought about this since it is supposed to make low RPM idle very nice but I decided against it since I would have no way to manually advance the engine for checking the cylinders, hand propping, etc. Have you found this to be an issue or does it not affect your flying?
