Hi Guys,
Just wondering what people have used for floats on there MKIIIC. I've attached a picture of some floats on an extra... any idea who makes them?

Hi Tony,
I don't know who makes those floats in your photo, but I'm sure they are a fortune!
Someday, after I eventually get my MkIII built, I hope to put floats on it, since I live next to a huge lake. I have checked out these wooden floats, and I think they may be a good choice for the money.
You can buy just the plans, or you can buy a laser-cut kit, that you assemble. In any event, these appear to be one of the more affordable ways to put floats on your plane.

Here are photos of MKIIIC, MKIII Xtra, and FSII on floats.

Hi Tony..
If I can ever sell my Skyhawk I plan on putting a set of Full Lotus floats on my Xtra...there was one on Ebay last week that I looked at last year in upper Michigan with a Jabiru on Krucker floats and it was a real performer...to bad it had this giant KINK on the bottom of the tail boom at the H brace...they were even selling rides with it ! Go to the Full Lotus site and chack out the gallery !
