Folks,

Quick question. Whenever I remove the cap on the carb and replace it, the absence of any star or lock washers of any type gets my attention. Is there any recommendation to use Locktite? I'd feel better knowing for sure!

Been flying with that type carb since 1983, none of those screws have come loose yet. Maybe the rubber boot isolates them from that sort of vibration.

They do not get any Loctite. The only thing on the carb that gets a minute amount is the enricher circuit housing screws. Just a tad.
