Has anyone figured out a good way to protect the firewall integrity were the control cables pass thru the firewall in the stock holes?
There is no space between the holes (1/4 inch) to accommodate the eyeball type pass- thru, nor the stainless shields. I could trim three shields and nestle them together, but has anyone made a shield in one piece that would cover all three holes? How about you guys with access to a machine shop that could punch out such a shield and sell them to us less fortunate.
I'm also looking for a source for stainless flanges to run thermocouple wires thru.

I sandwiched stainless steel rings with three eyeballs and sealed it all together. I wish I hadn't drilled out the original holes until I was ready.

Chris,
For stainless flanges for your thermocouple wires look at Home Depot bathroom fittings i.e. towel bars or grab bars. See the Aeroelectric list for for pictures and discussion.

Try Plane Innovations. Look under firewall penetrations.
