Hi Rene

Stien sells a cable for providing EFIS access. What I would like to do is mount a couple of USB ports that provide power only to USB powered devices such as an IPhone. There would be no connectivity, just power.

Cheers

Les,

You could just get a couple of these from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Mini-Car-Cigarette-Lighter-to-USB-Charger-Adapter-f-MP3_W0QQitemZ150424165829QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item2305fa9dc5

Remove the electronics and connect it to Stein's cable. Or use the whole thing as it is in a cigarette lighter socket.
I got one of those cables that Stein sells but with dual USB ports. Don't rember where i got it from, but if you need it, let me know and I'll look into it.

Lenny

You can get lighter to USB adapters like that almost anywhere nowadays. Wire for 12v lighter sockets and you will be future proof.
