Now I've done it! I stored my completed slats high up on a wall bracket in my shop and apparently the vibration from my air compressor caused one to fall when I was not there.
I have a big dent in the leading edge of the right hand outboard slat and a very crinkled mating surface. I am wondering if anyone that permanently removed their slats is interested in selling one of them.
The alternative is I 'm seriously considering VG's instead of the slats. Any input would be welcome.
