I have all almost all the subkits for my XL. I have the gear kit and the canopy on order (should be here soon).
I'm working on the cabin floor and I just to the the point where I'm going to fit the brake master cylinders for the pilot side, and noticed I don't have any, anywhere. Looking over the pick list for all the kit sections I have, none of them make note of the MC-5 brake parts. I have the rudder pedals and the bearings as well as the pilot side brake pedals.
I'm looking for others' experiences. What part of the kit did your brakes come with?

looking over the fuselage parts list, there isn't a mention of the brake cylinders anywhere.

This picture leads me to believe that cylinders should be in the fuselage kit.
I think ultimately i'll have to call zenith and ask, but I figured I would start here.
Second question:
This is about rivet sizes on the firewall and perhaps I'm over thinking it a bit. Looking at 6-B-7. Are all the rivets that go through 6-b-7-1 and 6-b-7-2 sized A5? Including the ones that go through the L on top of 6-b-7-1? The arrows that reference the rivet size make it slightly unclear to me.

Hi Lee,
I bought the kit as a whole so I can't tell you in which subkit the cylinders are found. What I can tell you is that a set is definitely included somewhere in the kit. A call to Zenith as you said should sort this out.
Unfortunately I do not have a set of plans to hand but I remember the majority of the firewall being A5. If in doubt I would use the stronger larger rivet.
If you send a pic through I can walk downstairs and check as I do not know what part 6-B-7 was.
Cheers
James

I'm pretty sure my brake master cylinders came with the landing gear kit.
