Very Nice!!!
That looks like one of the places I used to land my Bonanza and go fishing. Where is that northern Nevada?

How long did it take you to repair it and fly it out? Hope you had dry ice for the fish...

Sorry to read that you have dry ice in the US.Here in France we NEVER keep ice dry...never dry for long...bad for the health.
I'd invite you guys to check that out here in Paris at LFPP.

I catch and release anyway. No need for dry ice.

It's Down Under - In New Zealand. Blenheim is at the top of the South Island.
The have a fantastic Air show at Easter in the alternate years to Wanaka. A lot of World War 1 aircraft and next year they hope to have a Mosquito there.
Have a look at

Geez Barry, it sure took a long time to get that CJ off the runway didn't it? I wonder how long it took them to smooth that much dirt out?
Had it been a YAK-50, they would have only needed to carve out 250 feet or so.
Mark
p.s. I have about 800 hours in T-34B's and I have indeed flown out of weird crap the same or worse than that. The T-34 is an underpowered beast, but the landing gear is tough as nails. Agreed that the CJ is a better performer, but the T-34 has WAY WAY more cockpit room. Put a 550 in it and it comes alive. Even better with a PT-6, called a T-34C.
