I just started up my new 2200A engine (S/N 1798, solid lifters) this morning, and it will not run without the choke on. It starts fine, runs smooth, and I can even vary the rpm by moving the throttle. But as soon as a move the choke in, it cuts right out.
I installed the black floats, and made sure they were adjusted properly. I've reviewed JSB 018-2, and drilled out the idle circuit inlet to .063". The idle jet is clear. I've tried adjusting the idle mixture screw to no avail. All of the idle circuit passages are clear.
There must be something simple that I am missing. Any ideas???
