Anyone know where a guy can get an original Yak 52 radio antenna? Mine is pretty corroded inside, to the point where it's unfixable. Thanks for any help.

Replace it with a Comant from Aircraft Spruce.

CI-121 is what I am using on the 50.

The original YAK antennas can be difficult to find. As Doc Kemp suggested, it is really wise to just replace the thing with a modern antenna design. I personally pulled mine and replaced it a long time ago. Yes, it is a little bit of a pain in the tail to make a metal plate to fit the location where the original antenna goes and drill it to also accept a new antenna design, but it is worth the time to do so. Comant (sp?) sells several very good model antennas... one that even includes a GPS antenna inside. Cool. Not cheap, but last a LONG time.

I used my original mounting plate and connections and epoxied in a new mast
unit of the right length - work was done by Leon Navarrow in San Diego -
seems to work OK so far.

They (Comant) even has and antenna that contains all there functions. I does
the gps function, XM weather, and VHF. Wish they had that when I bought the
one I have installed now. I have be using this one for 3 years now without
any issues.
