I fly my 701/912ULS slats off, VG's on, with wheel pants, as a touring aircraft.

At 4800rpm and 18l/hr, it cruises at 100mph+

The pants are pretty massive as tyres are Michelin 8.00x6 6ply a/c
tyres. but the pants certainly take some drag off the system. They
were a one-off build and I suspect that most would need to go that
way.

Peter

Very interesting. Are there pictures online I could see? Do you have strut ferrings? 3 blade prop? What pitch?

Just makes for a much better looking plane, doesn't it. No, I don't
make or sell them. However, I do have he molds I might lend to someone
who knows what they are doing. Larry

Pics here - the front fairing rides a little higher than we would like, but they do a good job.
