For those flying: Did your inspector require labels on your stick grip controls? (e.g, PTT, autopilot disconnect, trim up, trim down, etc.)

I helped with an inspection on my friends's Zenith 701 and the DAR did require him to label the stick.

Mine did NOT. But in preparation for the question, I put a diagram in the
manual.
See my POH here.

Yes but she said I could take care of it later. Later is still
sometime away. I have the Infiniti grips--not sure how I am going to
do it. Maybe inscribe with a dremel and then hilight with white dope.

Matt Dralle has a template he used that you could stick on the panel.
One needs to be able to have a reference for a non flyer so as long as
it is near the stick and one can discern whats what it should be fine.
Hard to put labels on the actual stick.

Mine didn't, as far as I can remember but it is a really good idea, so
I did, and people have commented very positively on it being helpful
when they fly with me.

Hugo Terrosa's daughter can engrave the Infinity grips with laser, and fill it with white paint. It looks pretty awesome. I'll try to dig up a picture if I can.
Give her a call at 561-715-6059. Her name is Erika.
