Don is correct 2012 is just after OSH. It was up in the air as to whether it would start on Monday just after everyone leaves or jive the place/natives a day or two to dry out.

I've been given feedback on both sides and can see how folks could want it either way. If I took a week off to be at OSH for the EAA air show and another week t be at AYA's convention I'm not sure I'd want a couple of days between with nothing to do. That is what I way feeling at MGY before I left for home. Now that I'm home I'm glad I'm off work til next week to recover from burning the candle at both ends at the convention. See what getting over 50 does to ya... LOL And my flight home was short, just one fuel stop with 30kt tail winds all the way... Smile

I was under the impression that the bylaws required that we hold our
event at a non-towered airport. Am I wrong?

If I'm right, why are we holding the convention at OSH which has a
tower, and not FLD (Fond Du Lac), a non-towered airport 13 miles away???

Don't want to start a war, but I'm curious.
Linn

Well, if my spare money gets heavier, I'll certainly be there in '12. I went to Oshkosh in '08. Lotsa fun.
