I am looking at installing a JPI FS-450 in my M14P powered CJ6. It is a very short run from the fuel pump to the carb and I wonder how others have installed theirs. It would seem the possibilities are to mount the transducer on the firewall or just inserted inline. Pictures would be nice!

Will have to wait until tomorrow to get pictures. Even then with the heat
shroud on the transducer it will be hard to tell how it is mounted. Saying
that, my FS 450 is mounted on the fuel line from the equalization sphere to
the carb. It is mounted midway between the two fittings. I then have it
mounted to the engine mount arm that runs parallel to the fuel line. The
transducer is nearer to the sphere than the banjo fitting on the carb.
Dennis can tell you more about this setup. This is a start.

It's mounted in the line from the fine fuel screen to the carburetor. The transducer is wrapped in the orange fire sleeve which comes in the kit and then strapped to the engine mount which basically follows the hose angle down to the carburetor.

OK-run it as follows? From the engine driven fuel pump to the firewall mounted fine fuel filter, then on the line to the carb insert the transducer and support with a leg of the engine mount...DZ

It's mounted in the line from the fine fuel screen = to the=20 carburetor. The transducer is wrapped in the orange fire = sleeve=20 which comes in the kit and then strapped to the engine mount which = basically=20 follows the hose angle down to the carburetor.
