Yes, they're great.

I bought a pair used at Copperstate... they were out of a P210, so I had to modify the mounting brackets and the visors. Well worth it... but we generally don't use them to look through, rather to shield the sun off various parts of our bodies and eyes during flight.

Don't have them, but they were normally $450ish and on show special for $400 at OSH. They must be awfully proud of their sun visors.... Or like I told my buddy, experimental sun visors at certified prices.....

That's what I concluded. There is a sun visor out there called Polavisor II which is available for about $30 each which blocks UV and dims direct sunlight automatically like some glasses. I may make my own brackets and use some of those or use the dark film that I already have for sunscreens.

Alex at rvtraining.com still sells the "blue sky" type and had them along at OSH too. They're less than 1/2 the price if I remember right. Lighter, smaller, and easier to install, too.

Rosen - I got them at OSH last year. Yes they are awfully proud of their visors, but they are a quality product. I questioned the price too, but having had them in my Cessna - I went ahead anyway. Besides, I do not want my kids to fly business class after I die !
