Dennis & Rick,
Sorry to reply to the whole list, but I just tried emailing Dennis privately & it came back.
I would be interested in the tires. I did already order a set of retreads (in the same size as I have) from Desser this morning, but once my training (on paved runways) is finished, I'll have the plane on a grass strip, so I think they'll be great for then.
Dennis - I'm in Iowa. let me know what they might cost to ship and we'll settle up.
Thanks,
Dawn

Hi, Dawn –
If you are interested in installing a set of “Kolbra tires” (that’s what the folks at the New Kolb company calls ‘em) on your Mark-III, I have a slightly used pair for sale. They are size 8.00x6 and fit on the standard six-inch Kolb rims. These are the fat tires you often see on many light sport airplanes – the Zenith CH-701 uses them exclusively. The set I have includes inner tubes.
I had these on my Kolb for about a year, but took them off last summer. All my landings are on paved runways, and it was a waste to have these balloon-y tires if I never get to land on grass strips. (very sad) Made about a 4 mph difference in cruise speeds with these, compared to the 6.00x6 tires I am using now. They probably have about 20 to 30 landings on them. They are still in excellent shape.
I bought these tires from New Kolb for about $45 each. Am willing to let them go for $50 for the pair (including tubes). Lemme know if you are interested …

Dawn, I have them on my MkIII already. They work fine on asphalt or concrete
so you'll like them. I run mine at about 12 psi for a little bit of nerf
action.
