I managed to fit my windshield to my (S7) and get all but one hole for
the door post drilled successfully. The one hole, at the top of the
door post made a crack about 2 to 2 1/2 inches long. I drilled a hole
at the beginning of the crack to prevent it from expanding with a 1/8
acrylic bit. My question is: is there an accepted method of patching a
crack in acrylic?

Might check out sources for sailplanes. Seen a few fixed very nice.
