Does anyone sell, or have plans for, a V530 spanner wrench?  I need a hefty one.  One of my blades is seized up due to dried grease and rust (hopefully not too much) and the retainer is really, really hard to turn.

After seeing a couple of these seized V530 hubs, even if you were able to disassemble it, the corrosion will be severe and the bearings and races will be pitted.  In fact, I used my spanner wrench with a 3 foot extension along with a 250 pound person and could not turn/remove the large nut on one of them.  Based on my experience and seeing the damage,  once it was disassembled, would be to bit the bullet and replace the hub.

I have one which was custom made. It is currently with Reade Genzlinger.
Basically it is made from 4340 1/2 inch steel. If Reade can make a
tracing/measure for a drawing and somebody knows a place to get them made
why not make a bulk order for those interested. It fits any 1/2 inch socket
put a big socket bar in there with a steel tube lever and off you go. If
someone wants to make them I/Reade can get the pattern out there.
