Recomendation on wheel pants, gear leg fairings and intersec

I would like any opinions on the best way to go on the wheel pant and fairing decision.
I'm interested in speed, good looks and ease of installation.
Also, is there any reason to put wood on the aft side of the gear legs?

Jim, I challenge my pants and fairings with off road use! I use team rocket leg fairings over the legs. I wrapped the legs with electricians bundling tape, no wood. Pants are Vans pressure recovery over 380x150x5 tires. 4 inch height at rear of tire in level flight attitude . Works well for me, good luck!

Great choice, I am familiar with that set up and was wondering if there is anything else out there worth considering.

Jim, I am investigating the use of Kevlar leg fairings and making a new set of "quick removal" pants. I'll post the results when I install them.
