I see a lot of scabbed on pieces of aluminum to fill in the hole where the old tail pipe came out. Very amateur. These are fiberglass hole covers that are contoured to the shape of the cowling.

Gary,

Nice photos of your testing, etc. But it would be help if you could reduce the size of photos for emailing so one could look at them without having to scroll back and forth. Or maybe just take the photo at a smaller resolution size.

Thanks Cliff, glad I'm not the only one having that problem. Wanted to mention it before but thought may be I'm the only one viewing these posts on the forum site. Tip if using IE go to View, zoom, and reduce to about 25%, don't forget to put it back to 100% or you won't be able to read anything.

When I post pictures on the forum I go to the trouble to ensure the picture size stays within the normal viewing area without having to scroll.

Whilst I'm on my soap box could we try and keep the topic title the same, any slight change in the title causes another topic to be raised on the forum which makes following a subject some what tiresome.

Gary, I see that this is a picture of the old cowling ( original ) but with the exhaust exiting out the exhaust ramp and not the hole in the cowling. Is this an exhaust STC?
