Hi, guys,

We have a Mk3c at Pompano.

Don't fly every weekend, but are almost always 

accessible.

The flyin mentioned was Arcadia.

One poss is Okeechobee. Decent restaurant, lots of room on ramp.

That would be fun due to the restaurant, ive been up there quite a bit in the past. I would love to get a little kolb fly-in going in this area.

There are two of us flying two different Kolb MK-III's in Miami.  It would be cool to get get together of the Kolbs around here !!!

Im having a heck of a time getting the A/P i know to find the time to come do a quick Condition Inspection on my Kolb. Anyone know of anyone around the West Palm Beach area? I was gona give him 150 bucks to look over my work, and i have a 2 page Kolb condition inspection checklist. 



Any ideas?

Have you checked with Travis at Kolb,to see if they have something in the hangar ready to go??

If you are willing to pay the going rate, an A&P would be more inclined to make the time. We charge $400 for a condition inspection on simple experimental aircraft and it generally takes a full day to complete. Most A&Ps in our area won't touch an experimental at any price.



BB is an exception to the rule, but he really likes his beer, so that probably explains it. Actually, BB is an exception to most rules . I mean that as a compliment, Bob.

I used an A&P who if I remember right is from the Stuart area. His name is John Klegg. He comes to Boca regularly, and inspected our plane at Pompano.

Phone # is 561 373 6222.

He's reasonable, and a very experienced inspector of homebuilts. I think mine was the first Kolb he's seen. I liked him a lot.
