I need a toggle switch for a fuel pump that will have an OFF, LOW and HIGH setting. I was thinking of a toggle switch that would be OFF in the down position, LOW in the middle and HIGH in the upper position.

But every toggle switch I've found is ON-OFF-ON. (OFF is the middle position)

Has anyone seen a toggle switch with an OFF-ON-ON configuration?

Thanks,
Don

Don, if you type in Toggle Switch "off-on-on" in a google search window, you will find a large number of sources for the type switch you want.

You might be able to make one of these work:

Very good Dan.

Don, the functionality you need can be configured
from a two-pole, three-position, progressive transfer
switch. An exemplar part is the B&C S700-2-10 switch

Exemplar wiring for an off-on-on functionality
is illustrated in figures 11-1, and 11-16 through
11-18 of The 'Connection.

Yes: you need: ON-ON-ON as many of us use for - Fuel pumps ie: Off - Fuel
pump - Fuel pump+Primer. or Battery/Alternator ie: Off - Battery -
Batttery+Alternator

Regards

John

If you want a Carling switch, I used Carling L52E166A77. It is a 24V light. If you need 12V just go to there website to configure it. The important part is the L52E. I am using it as a OFF-Low Boost-High Boost switch for my fuel pump.

Bob, your embedded images are coming through on my daily summary as “Emacs!” and not as an image or a link.

Yeah, that's a quirk of how the system handles Eudora
postings in the digest mailings. See

http://www.matronics.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=77725

I think you'll see them properly if you access the
forums threads from your browser . . . or shift from
the digest dump to individual messages.
