Has anyone mounted a "pull" handle on the bottom rear of the door? I find on
cold days my nice fitting door warps slightly and the rear latch will not
engage without a push from the outside. What's the best way to mount a
handle once the doors are finished?

This is how we have done it. This is just a furniture handle that you can buy from the aviation department at Lowes or Home Depot. To mount it, we put in two hard points with fiberglass resin and flox between the inside and outside skins of the door, one above and one below the door latch pin, then put a screw in from the outside into the handle inside. It is a must for closing the doors, IMHO. It is something that, as the pilot with a newby in the passenger seat, you can reach behind them and hold in on the handle while they latch the door. It's very handy.

The 180 degree kit from Planearound.com may fix that. The 90 degree may too but with the 180 degree kit the cam will fully engage which pulls the door in completely before the pins enter into the pin blocks.
Just another option if you didn't want the handle and make the door look better.

We put a handle at the rear pin location like Jesse. We built the hard points and installed the mounting screws from inside the cabin so as to make repairs possible without affecting the exterior paint. I can get pics if anyone requests off-list.
