Said news for an airplane!! I was 2300 miles away when I received the call and already 6 hours to late to remove my Kitfox Sport (not a super sport but a 7 plus or minus ) w/ 914. The water hit the bottom side of the wings and I have been working till the Corona police threaten to arrest me for being passed airport curfew. 2" of river mud. Now my local store thinks I have something going on with distilled water. Yes, I drained, cleaned, pressure washed, oiled and jumped started the starter to purge. Paint blisters have almost faded. Electronics, some manufactures are trying to be helpful a few don't even respond back. I still work full time and need to get the Kitfox back into my garage, so for today I am cleaning out the mess I brought home to dry and console my wife that it is OK to park her baby outside again. If you would like to see some pictures visit the Corona Pilots Association web site.
