Hello Crew, I have not been on this site for some time as I have been busy tearing my beloved XL to pieces and rebuilding her. I finished up this weekend along with my annual and went flying. Had not flown her since 20 June so I had to remember how. Did 1.1 hrs and 6 T&Gs. She weighs 35 pounds heavier then before and the controls feel different, but she flew fine. Got her to 140 on down wind and horsed around a bit to see if the wings came off. They stayed put so I guess I did the re build correctly. Busting a flying airplane apart is a pain in the neck, but afterward I guess it will be worth the trouble. Best regards, Bill of Georgia 601XL-B
