Due to my transfer to another city to complete my engineering degree, I will
be in a situation where I will not be able to continue work on my CH-801 for
the next couple of years. My plan has been to put the project in storage
during that time; it can easily be suspended from the roof of a hangar. But
in a way, I hate to see the project sitting for so long. And storage could
cost quite a bit. So I've decided to put my project on the market. This is
not a desperation sale! I still have the storage option. Still, considering
the time and craftsmanship that have gone into it, this is an excellent
value! Especially by comparison to the factory price for a quickbuild.
I am an A&P mechanic, and have been in contact with the factory throughout
the building process. I completed the rudder, horizontal stabilizer, and
rear fuselage. I'm working on joining the cabin and rear fuselage. I've done
meticulous work, and have one phase inspection signed by an EAA inspector.
In order to complete the project, one would need to purchase the wing,
landing gear, and controls kits directly from Zenith, as well as the FWF and
instruments. Included in the sale is about $800 worth of tools, including a
14' x 4' flat and infinitely adjustable work table, jigs and fixtures. The
price is $9999.
Email me directly if you have any questions.
