I want to buy some Scotch Brite pads. I have tracked it down to these.
3M 7447 (maroon)
3M 7448 (grey)
They are silicon based one coarser the other finer.Based on your experience
are these the best for aluminum? If not what do you recommend?

These are what I used, buy lots of them as they wear out quickly

I would start with 20 of each, I believe that I used more than that. I
primed all my parts in and out.
