RV9A with SD-20 Alternator
The drawings I have are not specific to location of the Hall Effect Sensor in regards to this installation. The most precise drawing B & C 410-503 would place this device at the firewall end of the 10ga wire. Can this device function properly in located within a few inches of the alternator itself ?

Any point along the length of the alternator
b-lead is fine.
