I only have a few pics here. I put all of them on the AuCountry Aviation Facebook page.
So, what do I do? As you may be able to see, it looks like the aft fuselage has been sitting in water for a log time. No telling what the wires look like.
There is nothing in the log book for this repair. I've spent about 4 hours going through the logbooks and trying to decipher the handwriting. There are a lot of missing entries.
The only mention of any repair is, and I quote,
8/13/1979
835.6 TTAF
. . . . stop drill cracks on lower empennage tail bulkhead, make small patch repair on right lower horizontal tail.
=====================================================================================
Plus, there is no mention of a complete paint job or replacement of the interior.

Get the rocords from the FAA. It'll cost ya about 4 to 10 bucks. Anybody can fill out a 337 illegally. On the other hand, the plane you helped me with in Sacremento had stuff done and there was no mention in the log book, but the records from the FAA told a different story. Good investment and only takes about a week or faster.

If I did a repair like that I probably wouldn't put an entry in the
logbook either!
