Anyone have any information on the fatal Kitfox Speedster crash today near
Truth or Consequences, NM?

I was able to find the name of pilot, 79-year-old Richard P. Woodsum .
Another article said there was flames before the impact.

Dick was a friend from New Mexico when I had a hangar (at) LRU (Las Cruces). He had a Kitfox Speedster that he frequently flew to EAA 555 breakfasts. He was a great pilot, an aircraft mechanic, and friend. This shows that aviation can take away the best of the best.
