Folks:

This is the most difficult time I have had getting a good weather window
long enough to fly from Alabama to Oregon. Crazy weather. Snowing in
Denver. High winds in Kansas. Patience, patience, patience!

Going to give it another shot Sunday morning, unless there is a big change
in the weather between now and then. Then again, I may not get out of here
Sunday.

Doesn't take much wisdom to realize there is rain and snow, winds in the 50

One thing about long cross flights is we don't always get to fly when we want to. Today has turned out to be one of those days.

I did make a .25 hour flight, but came back to Neosho to wait out better conditions. Wind is honking and there was not enough ceiling to try and climb out of the turbulence. Reckon I'll be here until we get calmer conditions or it clears up a bit. Weather guessers are not much help. May be here a couple days, but this is a good place to stay. Could be much worse.

Patience, patience, patience.

Glad I am grounded at a good location. Could be much, much worse.

Where'd you stop in Arkansas? Hope I didn't miss you coming through Mtn. View.

Good thing you got through here yesterday, cause there's no way you'd have come through AR today. Hopefully we'll catch on the way back. Stay safe.

Got a phone call this morning from John. He was sitting on the runway just next to my back yard. So, John's out of Neosho, but the winds have him stopped in Udall, KS.
