John just called he has his feet propped up in a Holiday Inn in Goodland Kansas. He had an interesting trip, but finally made it. Thinks he may stay and soak up a bit of comfort until the weather abates, if it ever does.

Good thing he flew out of Udall this morning. We had some massive thunderstorms this evening with winds up to 65. Miss P'fer would have gotten very wet.

Had a pretty exciting day yesterday.

Will update later.

Right now I have to get back out to the airport and check on my airplane.

Will be spending the night again, here at Holiday Inn. Too damn wet, windy, and cold, to play Boy Scout tonight.

Have you given any thought to sacrificing a goat? Worth a try, as nothing else seems to work. For a really accurate weather forecast, examine the entrails of a chicken.
