Gary H and Mike M landed at Jack Pot, NV. When they depart there they will have 171 sm to fly over total wilderness. No towns or settlements in between. There is a gravel strip at Grassmere, NV, but no facitlities of any kind. It is a great experience flying through that area, totally depending on the Kolb to get you to your destination.
Weather here is 71F with light winds.
I wish all of you Kolbers could join us. Would be quite a sight to see a couple hundred Kolbs tied down at the Rock House. Will try to take a lot of pictures to share with you all. After being confined to a wheel chair last year this time, and missing my annual flight West, I understand how important those messages and photos were.
Ezra, the Tennessee Walker, got a little excited and decided to show off when I flew around the Rock House on arrival.
On the ground, taxiing south to the house, after 11 days on the road.
The Rock House from ground and air.
