Well the pilots are slowly leaving. Mike Marker left yesterday, Gary Haley left this morning. We flew yesterday to the Alvord after checking the hills between. We saw Antelope, Bighorn Sheep and of course wild (feral ) horses. We Landed on the dry end of the Alvord, then landed on the road by the hot springs. The weather was finally the way that it should be, and we flew until about 2PM.
Boyd kindly helped me check my radio antenna, and we cut it down to 23 inches. Somehow I misinterpreted the suggested length. Roger and I made a flight at 8 PM to check to see how it now transmitted. We got to 24 miles and it sounded the same as at 8 miles. We landed at dusk, making our trip back home with a tail wind that had us showing 97 mph ground speed. I am a happy camper.

The video unfortunately does not have any sound track with it. You tube is getting tough about copyright infringements. Since engine noise is only good when you are actually in the plane, I deleted it. You should feel free to hum your favorite song.

Larry- Leave the engine noise in. We can always turn the sound down. The engine noise adds more to the "flight" experience. When somebody adds music, I turn the sound off.

Well, I suppose that I could sing, but probably only once. Sorry but I had to redo the video, and I had already deleted the the raw video. However I will not promise to leave the engine noise in if I decide to do any more.

It is surprisingly very light on Sulphur, almost no smell at all. It does grow some interesting Algae, but other than being slick is not bad.
