Everyone considering OSH
Weather here is supposed to be very hot and very humid for the next 2 weeks.
Temps in mid 90's and heat index in mid 100's
Isolated thunderstorms, but overall not much precip forcast until end of the month.
I do not like long range forecasts, but thought this one may be pretty accurate - so prepare appropriately.

Yep, this year no snow shovels and no packer gear. Even the worlds greatest fans are getting tired of the NFL.

I have basically boycotted Airventure. Airshows in the Midwest late July or August are a really bad idea. Hard on people, pilots and planes.

AND there are 54 species of mosquitoes in Wisconsin, and they breed in pools of water that have been sitting for almost two weeks due to the rains. The heavy rains in the state can cause flood pools, perfect for mosquito breading.
Some mosquitoes can travel 14 to 20 miles from their breeding areas.. all heading to Oshkosh, looking for food, and they are pretty aggressive, as many of us experienced.
Just don't go out at dusk in a tank top and shorts and pack some EXTRA GOOD mosquito repellent.. or else you're dead meat.
