Hello:
How are you guys pitching your Warpdrive 3 blade props?
I spoke with Kerry at Lockwood. He said for a Kitfox IV with a Rotax 912 =
UL and a 68" three blade Warpdrive, to go in two inches from the blade =
tip and pitch it to about 10.5 degrees. This will yield a static rpm of =
about 5500rpm.
He also said to use a smart level instead of the Warpdrive pro-tractor.
I have been trying to track all three blades the same by torquing one =
side of the prop hub before the other side to bring the blades as close =
as possible to one another. I was told to torque all the hub bolts using =
the criss-cross method regardless of the tracking.
What have others done?
Thanks,
Kirk Martenson
