Good afternoon,
Hoping someone here might be able to help. We’re restoring an IAR-823 and would like to put on a Cleveland nose wheel (model 40-77a. Would this be the correct model?). We know there is an adapter piece needed to make this work. Getting it made is no problem, but we need to know some details first. If the dimensions are hard to come by we can do the miking our selves. We just need to know what the design is.
· We need to know the dimensions and the shape. does anyone have a picture?
· Is it just a tube, or are there spacer sections to keep the wheel centered?
· Is it steel or aluminum?
*Are there one or two pieces (or 3) pieces?
· Is it heat treated at all?
*If steel, what type? If aluminum, what type?
If anyone has detailed pictures or plans of this, they would be greatly appreciated also.
Thanks in advance,
Bridget & Bruce
